Hi, I’m Geerte Smeets — a photographer based in the south of the Netherlands, specialising in capturing real moments, strong emotion, and the energy behind every subject I photograph.

My work focuses mainly on equestrian photography, motorsport and animal portraits. I’m drawn to movement, connection, and personality — whether that’s the intensity of a race, the bond between horse and rider or the character of a dog. My goal is always to create images that feel natural, honest, and full of life.

I take a relaxed and down-to-earth approach to every shoot, making sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera so we can create images that genuinely reflect who you are and what you do. I believe the best photos come from real moments rather than forced poses, and I always aim to bring out the authenticity in every session.
